The next appointment
Scrubs is scheduled to air “My Halloween” on ABC on Wednesday, October 28, from 8 to 8:30 p.m. Eastern. The network’s listing says the episode will stream on Hulu the following day.
What ABC has revealed
The synopsis puts J.D. alongside a former colleague dealing with a difficult patient. Elliot looks for support for her clinic, while Turk confronts changes in his family. Those are the advance details; the listing does not disclose how the situations end.
Catch up on this week first
The October 21 episode, “My Best Friend’s Birthday,” follows Turk’s effort to celebrate with J.D. and Elliot while the interns handle a night shift. It gives viewers a dated place to resume before the holiday episode. The network’s preceding October 14 synopsis also put J.D. in a supervisory dilemma after a costly mistake by Turk. Across those published descriptions, friendship and responsibility sit together: a birthday celebration is followed by another workday, and old relationships do not remove the demands of running a hospital.
The familiar trio has new responsibilities
Disney’s October guide describes J.D., Turk and Elliot as established doctors mentoring another generation. It names Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke in those roles, with Ava Bunn as Sam Tosh. That setup lets the revival put experience and new expectations in the same workplace. The Halloween listing adds family and clinic pressures to the mix without disclosing an ending. The immediate viewing choice is straightforward: catch up with the birthday episode, then follow the network’s October 28 listing for the next installment.
