Jeffrey Epstein was a financier and a convicted sex offender. His 2008 Florida guilty plea and his 2019 federal prosecution are different proceedings. The later sex-trafficking charges were not decided at a trial before his death in custody. Combining those events into one supposed federal conviction would misstate the record.[S02][S03][S07]

This dossier follows a more useful question than who appears in a viral photograph: what does a particular document establish about a particular person? Each chapter names its source and separates an accusation from a finding. An official document can preserve an allegation without establishing that it is true.

Wealth and access are part of the story

One documented financial relationship was with Leslie Wexner. In testimony reported by Reuters in February 2026, Wexner said he hired Epstein as a money manager in the 1980s, later severed ties and had not known of Epstein’s crimes. That account is testimony, not a finding that association establishes complicity.[S22]

For this edition, financial accountability is examined through records of an estate settlement, a bank regulator’s action and a new civil complaint. These allow readers to ask concrete questions about transactions, authority and oversight without treating social status as proof.

Begin with the Florida agreement, then the 2019 indictment and Maxwell’s prosecution. Move next to the financial and property records. Finish with the disclosure dispute and dated developments in 2026. This sequence keeps the chronology visible instead of presenting an old allegation as a new revelation.

A person index accompanies the articles. Its categories are convictions, civil proceedings, an investigation described in a court order, and testimony or other mentions. It is not a list of offenders.

The collection provides fifteen linked articles, a chronology, selected person entries and an annotated source register. It does not claim access to sealed evidence or to every record held by every agency. The original-document links let you inspect the source beyond the passage discussed here.

The reporting is non-graphic. It does not reproduce abuse imagery, expose private victims or invent scenes inside properties. Questions that the reviewed sources cannot answer remain questions, rather than becoming “secrets” asserted as fact.
